Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers comfortable rooms, friendly service, and a great location on the high street. Though some noise from the trunk road may be bothersome in the mornings, my stay was truly lovely. The food was excellent, but prices could be better.
The hotel was just perfect for our one-night stay. The rooms were on the small side but adequate, and the service was great during the music festival visit. The location on a relatively busy main street above a busy bar was good for accessing local walks, but there was no hotel reception area which was a bit inconvenient. The dining was part of the package and excellent, plus the hotel is very much like home.
The hotel's location is superb, right in the centre of town, making it excellent for exploring Callendar and the surrounding area. The rooms, though not massive, were very nicely decorated and had everything we wanted, and most importantly, they were really clean, exceeding our expectations. The service was outstanding, with the staff going out of their way to help, and the housekeeping was commendable as well. The dining experience was really very tasty indeed and had some excellent choices. Overall, a great stay with a few minor hiccups that didn't overshadow the positive aspects.
